One window, every session
Run five jobs at once and you'll still know which one needs you. Firekeeper keeps each in its own lane, with the ones waiting on you at the top.
A lane per session
Each program or script gets its own lane, and the lanes that need you rise to the top. Any lane folds down to a single line.
Answer in one click
A session asks, and you pick an option or type a few words. It hears back the moment you answer.
You press Start
When a session wants a command run, you see the whole thing first, and nothing runs until you press Start.
Work in flight
See what each session is up to, with a progress bar and an ETA, and what it has lined up next.
Docked or in the tray
Dock it to the edge of the screen, or keep it in the tray with a badge. A hotkey brings it back.
Yours alone
Everything stays on your computer. The server listens on 127.0.0.1 only, and nothing a session sends is ever run on its own.
Connect anything
Drive Firekeeper from your own code, from a shell or over MCP. Whichever way you come in, the same rules apply.
REST and C
Plain HTTP and JSON under /v1, from any language, and a small C library with no dependencies for native tools.
flare
A command line for scripts, build steps and hooks: flare work start, flare add, flare wait.
MCP
Any MCP client adds Firekeeper as a server at 127.0.0.1:47311/mcp and learns it from the built-in guide. For Claude Code, flare connect sets it up.
Download
Firekeeper 0.2.7 for Windows. It installs for your account only, needs no administrator, and updates itself when you ask.
- Run
FirekeeperSetup.exe. It adds Firekeeper to the Start menu and starts it. - To update, open Settings and press Check for updates. Every update is signed, and checked before it's installed.
Until Firekeeper is signed, Windows may say it's from an unknown publisher: choose More info, then Run anyway.
