Everything that needs you, in one window.

Firekeeper gives each program, script or AI agent you run a lane: its questions to answer, the commands it asks you to start, and its work in flight with live ETAs.

Free for Windows 10 and 11. No account, nothing in the cloud.

One window, every session

Run five jobs at once and still know which one needs you. Firekeeper keeps them in lanes, the ones waiting on you first.

A lane per session

Each program, script or AI agent gets its own lane, and the lanes that need you rise to the top. Fold any lane to one line.

Answer in one click

A session asks; you pick an option or type a few words. It hears back the moment you do.

You press Start

When a session wants a command run, you see the whole command first. Nothing runs until you press Start.

Work in flight

See what each session is doing, with a progress bar and an ETA, and what it has queued up next.

Docked or in the tray

Dock it to the screen's edge, or keep it in the tray with a badge. A hotkey brings it back.

Yours alone

Everything stays on your computer. The server listens on 127.0.0.1 only, and nothing a session sends is ever run on its own.

Connect anything

Drive Firekeeper from your own code, from a shell, or from an AI agent. Three ways in, one set of rules behind them.

REST and C

Plain HTTP and JSON under /v1, from any language, and a small C library with no dependencies for native tools.

For your programs

flare

A command line for scripts, build steps and hooks: flare work start, flare add, flare wait.

For scripts

MCP

AI agents such as Claude Code add Firekeeper as an MCP server at 127.0.0.1:47311/mcp, and learn it from its built-in guide.

Download

Firekeeper 0.1.0 for Windows. It installs for you alone, with no administrator, and keeps itself up to date.

  1. Unzip the download anywhere.
  2. In the Firekeeper folder, run flare_install.exe. It adds Firekeeper to the Start menu and starts it.
  3. To update, open Settings and press Check for updates. Every update is signed, and checked before it installs.

Until Firekeeper is signed, Windows may say it's from an unknown publisher: choose More info, then Run anyway.
